Bellevue Holiday Farmhouse

This Beautiful French farmhouse has 5 double/twin bedrooms, 3 shower rooms with WC's and a 40ft kitchen/dining room.

Bellevue is a restored 18th century farmhouse in a very tranquil location with lovely views. There are large terraces on both east and west sides of the house. The bath/shower rooms were all new or upgraded in 2010. Most of the rooms are large with more than ample space for 10. The large kitchen has a range cooker, Miele dishwasher, 2 refrigerators and microwave.

Across the little used lane is the pool which again was replaced in 2010 and now boasts Roman steps, solar heating, new paving and covered dining area for 10. There is a Dutch barn with covered parking, lawns, a large pond and woods. In all about 4 acres.

Despite its tranquil location the house is only a 5 minutes drive from the popular town of Aubeterre. The nearest beach is at Royan about one hour drive and about the same to St. Emillion. Bergerac Airport is just over one hour. Pretty golf & tennis resort 5km.

"Bellevue"
Location: St Antoine Cumond in France

Our Farmhouse is in the Dordogne but is just 5kms from the attractive medieaval hilltop town of Aubeterre-sur Dronne in the Charente. Aubettere offers canoeing, tennis,sandy beach on the river, the world's largest (possibly) monolithic church and several cafes, restaurants and small shops. It was recently awarded 'Prettiest village in France' 12kms from the house is the much larger town of Riberac with 2 or 3 supermarkets and banks and the large Friday market. A little further is the popular lake resort of La Jemaye. Just 3kms from the house is the village of St. Antoine-Cumond with shop,bakery and bar/restaurant. Our house is about 500 metres from nearest neighbour in small hilltop hamlet of Sautepaille.
